Kashmir is one of several places that have been called the "Venice of the East" or the "Kashmiri Venice" Lakes around the city include Dal Lake – noted for its houseboats – and Nigeen Lake. Apart from Dal lake and Nigeen lake city is also famous for wular lake and manasbal lake to the north of srinagar. Wular lake is one of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia.



Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: Delhi – Srinagar.

    Board your flight from Delhi Airport. On arrival Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by a Global Vectra Trips representative (outside the airport) who will transfer you to your houseboat in Nagin Lake after check in proceed for half day Srinagar local sightseeing famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), which the Mughals laid out in the 16th century along the banks of Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar. Back to houseboat and enjoy overnight stay at houseboat.

  • Day 2: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar 160 kms 3 Hrs

    Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 3: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar 100 kms 2 Hrs

    After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country side day trip towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, givesyou an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car ride , and ascend towards the Afar-watt Mountainrange. The 08 minutes of rope-way will take you past colorful shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Afar watt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley . In the evening we will drive back to Srinagar Overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 4: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar 180 kms 4 Hrs

    Our trip today will be to a picturesque valley around 97 kilometers South of Kashmir. Known as Pahalgam , the valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams and imposing snow peaks. In Pahalgam you can visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel for our overnight stay

  • Day 5: Departure Transfer To Airport

    After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal
